Reno, Nev. (May 13, 2020) – President and CEO of the Reno-Sparks Convention and Visitors Authority (RSCVA), Charles Harris joins the board of directors for U.S. Travel Association. This new appointment gives Reno Tahoe an authoritative voice in addressing key industry issues in the post-pandemic tourism recovery and supporting the Washington D.C.-based organization’s mission to increase travel nationally.
“I’m honored to join such a prestigious organization and to support the recovery of the tourism industry across the U.S.,” said Charles Harris, president and CEO of RSCVA. “The U.S. Travel Association will be a key player in the recovery of national travel, and I’m eager to be a voice for the destination of Reno Tahoe as we work to ensure a brighter future for our destination and for the industry as a whole,” said Harris.
The U.S. Travel Association regularly produces travel data, analysis and insights to keep lawmakers and industry leaders informed. The U.S. Travel Board of Directors provides the organization with direction, approves budget, addresses issues in the industry, and serves as a liaison and voice for all members.
