RENO, Nev. (August 19, 2024) – The 2024 Pan American Adult Bowling Championship will be held at the National Bowling Stadium in Reno from Monday, August 19 – Sunday, August 25.
“It’s exciting to welcome Panam Bowling to the National Bowling Stadium,” said Reno Tahoe President and CEO Mike Larragueta. “International competition and sportsmanship is part of what makes the sport of bowling so special in how it brings people together, from all walks of life and from all over the world.”
The 28th Pan American Bowling Championship will bring nearly 300 athletes from 19 countries, in the Americas, to compete in the Elite Championship, as well as the Senior and Super Senior divisions.
“Reno Tahoe has everything Panam championship bowlers are looking for, specifically the world-class dedicated bowling venue, the National Bowling Stadium. The hotel and dining amenities are great for our international competitors, and the region presents interesting opportunities in terms of geography and entertainment,” said Pan American Bowling Confederation President Martin Faba.
The Elite division this year will consist of 190 bowlers. Countries represented include Argentina, Aruba, Bahamas, Bermuda, Brazil, Canada, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Mexico, Panama, Peru, Puerto Rico, Uruguay, Venezuela and the U.S.
The Pan American Adult Bowling Championship’s Elite, Senior and Super Senior divisions are open to the public. Male and female American bowlers are competing in the Elite and Senior divisions.
