RENO, Nev. (November 20, 2024) – Reno Tahoe invites the community to join the “Holiday Bowl” at the National Bowling Stadium (NBS) on Saturday, Nov. 23, from noon to 2 p.m.
Holiday Bowl is part of an ongoing fundraising series for local non-profit organizations, where Reno Tahoe opens the doors to the iconic National Bowling Stadium in downtown Reno for public bowling. Since the launch of Public Bowling Days in November 2023, these events have raised significant funds for local non-profits.
To celebrate the holiday, a portion of the proceeds from Holiday Bowl will benefit Katie Grace Foundation, an organization that embodies a giving spirit serving the community at large and any person pursuing the betterment of their life by offering educational and athletic scholarships. Attendees who donate a new, unwrapped children’s or pet’s toys at the event will receive a raffle ticket to win great prizes, including tickets to Monster Jam, PBR or Jurassic Quest.
“The holiday season is a time for giving and gathering, and the Holiday Bowl brings both together in a way that supports a remarkable cause,” said Reno Tahoe President and CEO Mike Larragueta. “We’re excited to welcome everyone to the National Bowling Stadium for an afternoon of holiday fun while helping the Katie Grace Foundation make a meaningful impact in our community.”
General admission tickets are $50, which includes a lane for up to five people, shoe rentals, and bowling balls. Parking is complimentary. Public Bowling Days at the National Bowling Stadium offer a rare chance for the public to experience this venue, typically reserved for competitive events.
