RENO, Nev. (July 18, 2024) – The Reno Tahoe community is invited to take part in “Automo-Bowl” at the National Bowling Stadium (NBS) on Sunday, July 21 from 12 to 2 p.m.
Automo-Bowl is part of an ongoing fundraising series for local non-profit organizations, where Reno Tahoe opens the doors to the general public to bowl at the famous National Bowling Stadium in downtown Reno. A portion of the proceeds directly benefit the National Automobile Museum.
Each general admission ticket is $50 and secures an entire lane for up to five players. Shoe rentals and bowling balls are included in the price. Parking is free.
“We’re excited to invite the Reno Tahoe community to join us for an incredible afternoon of bowling,” said Reno Tahoe President and CEO Mike Larragueta. “This event not only offers a rare opportunity for the public to bowl at this iconic venue, but it also supports a great cause. We look forward to bowling alongside the community.”
Since its construction in 1995, the NBS has been used primarily for competitions and group events. Reno Tahoe introduced Public Bowling Days in November 2023, with monthly events running until March and more planned throughout the year. Thanks to the support of the Northern Nevada community, over the first five events, Reno Tahoe raised over $8,700 for local non-profit organizations.
