RENO, Nev. (October 18, 2024) – Reno Tahoe invites the community to join the “Boo Bowl” at the National Bowling Stadium (NBS) on Saturday, Oct. 26, from noon to 2 p.m.

Boo Bowl is part of an ongoing fundraising series for local non-profit organizations, where Reno Tahoe opens the doors to the iconic National Bowling Stadium in downtown Reno for public bowling. Since the launch of Public Bowling Days in November 2023, these events have raised significant funds for local non-profits.

To celebrate the holiday, a portion of the proceeds from Boo Bowl will benefit Scouting America – Nevada Area Council, an organization charged with the responsibility of organizing and supporting successful Cub Scout Packs, Scouts BSA Troops, Venturing Crews and Explorer Posts to enrich the lives of youth in Nevada. Attendees are encouraged to dress in costume for a chance to win a ghoulish gift from Dark Corner Haunted House.

“Halloween is all about creativity and community, and the Boo Bowl brings both together in a way that benefits a wonderful cause,” said Reno Tahoe President and CEO Mike Larragueta. “We’re excited to welcome everyone to the National Bowling Stadium for an afternoon of fun, all while supporting Scouting America’s efforts to enrich the lives of young people in Nevada.”

General admission tickets are $50, which includes a lane for up to five people, shoe rentals, and bowling balls. Parking is complimentary. Public Bowling Days at the National Bowling Stadium offer a rare chance for the public to experience this venue, typically reserved for competitive events.
